Every year, for 90 years, our family has harvested and blended this wine. Our commitment: to find the perfect harmony and techniques to uphold these Bordeaux traditions and enhance the exceptional balance of Merlot and Cabernet, beyond passing trends. With a nose of generous red fruits, the Cabernets invigorate the tasting experience with hints of pepper and licorice. The finish lingers with chocolate and stewed fruits, completing the journey. Its balance and roundness make it the perfect companion for any meal.

Our pride is the uniqueness of our white wine, crafted for 90 years: elevating Sémillon to its rightful place, long before it became fashionable. We love its roundness and fruitiness, as evidenced by our old vines, thriving for 70 years on the clay-limestone plateau in front of the château, which we nurture with the utmost care. More fruit-forward than classic Bordeaux whites, it presents aromas of pear, elderflower, and honey, with a smooth, well-balanced texture.

A legend tells that a certain Queen Audry once hid a treasure somewhere on the Château grounds. The treasure was never found, but Plantier de la Reine is our treasure, crafted from the finest Merlots and Cabernets, lightly oaked. A wine for aging that improves over the years, Plantier de la Reine is richer than our historic cuvée, developing leather and vanilla notes on the finish.

For twenty-five years now, we have carefully selected the best Merlots from our finest terroirs in exceptional vintages. This «best of the best» selection, meticulously crafted and subtly oaked, shapes a generous wine. The outstanding 2019 vintage, which bathed our vines in sunshine without drought, was the ideal choice for the latest of our Étoile cuvées. This Étoile 2019 will offer the roundness and depth of Merlot for many years to come. The elevated Merlots extend flavors of blueberry and blackcurrant with lingering notes of vanilla and toast.

We have taken on the challenge of restoring prestige to this traditional and emblematic Bordeaux wine, unjustly forgotten. We offer a high-end approach to Merlot and Malbec juices, barely macerated, to enhance fruit and freshness. Our Clair de Lune, with its bright, luminous hue, is enjoyed chilled and suits any occasion. Its very light tannins allow it to pair even with fish and seafood, exotic cuisine, and sunny aperitifs.
