AOC Bordeaux Supérieur

Our Land

Since the Renaissance, the Château de Brague has watched over an estate of more than 60 hectares in the heart of Bordeaux, on the right bank of the Dordogne, near Fronsac and Saint-Émilion.Amidst woods and meadows, 20 hectares of the finest land have been planted for centuries with Bordeaux’s emblematic grape varieties —Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon—complemented by Malbec. For white wine, Sémillon reigns supreme in our old vines dating back to 1951, accompanied by Sauvignon.

Our vines thrive on our exceptional clay-
limestone terroirs, between the large plateau to the north and the south-facing slopes. Nearly 100,000 vine stocks, tended one by one throughout the year, to produce the finest grapes.
