One family has been passionately looking after the vines
and the production of wine at the Chateau de Brague
for three generations. The grandfather, Maurice Trève, an industrial inventor of railway equipment, bought the estate in 1936, spending all his leisure time on it.
His son-in-law, Jacques Galland, an agronomic and industrial engineer in the casting industry, and then his daughter Hélène, continued his work, modernising and adapting their techniques in line with the changes in viticulture and oenology. His granddaughters, Noèle,
an architect, and Cécile, a wardrobe mistress, are today continuing the work begun over 70 years ago, still constantly seeking ever-higher quality and striving to work in a way that protects the environment.
